# Type Descriptions

For a number of years I have not felt the need to write Socionics Type Descriptions, as I knew a number of Socionists that already had quite good ones. It wasn't until I began to see how my perspective of Socionics differs, that I began to see the value in writing them. \
\
Socionics descriptions are often abstract or wide reaching, because it is meant to capture a certain scope or range of behaviors of various people of the same type. \
\
While I may write more technical or abstract type descriptions in the future. You will find that these descritions feel more like a person, and less like the idea of a person. I hope they are useful and make it easier to discern your type, and help discern the types of others as well. If you have any feedback, let me know via my email [trey@simplesocionics.com](mailto:). \
\
Thanks,\
Trey
