# SLI - the “Craftsman” (SiTe)
* #### “Leading” Block - \[ “Utility” ]
1. “Base” Function - \[  Si ]
SLIs are quick studies of their environment, continually noticing and appraising functional details – admittedly, with aesthetic appeal being of comparatively less concern. Their astute observational skills allow SLIs to readily pick up on how things work, and recognize potential uses for even the most unassuming items. An SLI typically puts these abilities to use developing life hacks, or other handy contrivances to enhance the ease and convenience of day-to-day affairs.
2. “Creative” Function - \[  Te]
Along with an SLI’s sharp attention to detail, they also tend to be rather dexterous; casually picking up the hands-on skills they employ to functionally enhance whatever space or items they’re attending to. It’s very common for individuals of this type to be mechanically inclined, with a natural affinity for tinkering, repairing, and even creating their own devices. An SLI is liable to engage in such projects as a recreational pastime as much as for work.

3. “Role” Function - \[  Ni ]
The leisurely pace of an SLI creates plenty of opportunity for occasional daydreaming. However, the subject matter of their reveries tends to be fairly mundane and closely tied with the SLI’s own private concerns – be it reminiscing over past experiences and topics of interest, or just idly fantasizing about possible future activities. However, SLIs aren’t inclined to put too much stock in such wanderings and don’t find devotion to following some overarching narrative vision at all appealing.
4. “Vulnerable” Function - \[  Fe]
SLIs are by nature, fairly reserved, plain-spoken individuals, which causes some to perceive them as dry and uninspiring. While their inner sentiments run deep, they have little propensity for, or interest in, trying to verbally draw others into them with dramatic speech. SLIs are also more inclined than most to find emotionally ostentatious or stylized rhetoric from others pretentious and off-putting. This type prefers informative, straightforward communication, without frill or fuss.

5. “Suggestive” Function - \[  Ne ]
While sensibly grounded, open-minded, and very handy when it comes to making the most of what's available to them, SLIs have a strong tendency of falling into repetitive ruts – often failing to venture much beyond their established comfort zone. For this reason, SLIs are appreciative of those with a lively and creative spontaneity, which can help inspire them to broaden their horizons to promising possibilities beyond the confines of their familiar routines.
6. “Mobilizing” Function - \[  Fi ]
A key aspect to an SLI’s near constant intake of observational data is deriving, and internally assimilating, personal takeaways from all that practical experience. While more naturally inclined towards focusing on external matters, an SLI will privately devote some time to seriously reflect on the life lessons they’ve accumulated, and heavily rely upon the moral insights they develop from this to guide their behavior going forward.

7. “Ignoring” Function - \[  Se ]
SLIs are temperamentally laid-back, peace-loving individuals with no taste for contention or drama. When faced with hostility or a persistent obstacle, the first instinct of an SLI is to quietly defuse the conflict in question and seek to skillfully work around any inconvenient roadblocks. That said, if their peace is consistently disturbed or they’re cornered into a fight, an SLI will deftly leverage any tactical advantage to dispatch of the threat with brutal efficiency.
8. “Demonstrative” Function - \[  Ti ]
To an overwhelming degree, SLIs are creatures of routine and structure. As capable as they are with empirical observation, SLIs also excel at meticulously picking up on, observing, and even adapting procedures on a situational basis. That said, they have little interest in strict adherence for its own sake – much less imposing rules on others. An SLI is far more concerned with smoothly navigating and utilizing codified structures for maximum convenience, viewing them as tools rather than ends.
