# EII - the “Counselor” (FiNe)

* #### “Leading” Block - \[ “Ethos” ]

1. “Base” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAOklEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8TYACM2QZAYNg3YxMD6mXCZgkt8EGpgweVWoDhOj+OUwGLY/0HoaVD0k+IHBgBiPwcPO3+IrQAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Fi ]

EIIs are deeply introspective and centered in their conscience. Much of their time is spent reflecting upon their inner sense of what’s inherently good or bad in the abstract, as well as developing moral ideals they strive to live up to. While EIIs are often hard on themselves whenever they feel they’ve fallen short of their convictions, they’re typically much more inclined to be forgiving of others’ moral failings – particularly when they believe they’re striving to be better.

2. “Creative” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAWUlEQVQoFZWRMQ4AIAgDrf//swoJpIJoZBFLrwxgrGqhAKhyGLUevM9vAixdSO4tKQE2qN4NOCVGbQOqVNYdiEls4pkDbLj1CnBCZTbP9wY5abp0tUX07w0TQOYIKuOiDqIAAAAASUVORK5CYII=) Ne ]

In tandem with their tendency towards moral introspection, EIIs are given to feeling out the potential for inner character growth – both in themselves and others. After becoming closely familiar with an individual, EIIs gain a deep sense of who they are as a person and the extent of their capacity for good. For this reason, EIIs are often far more optimistic about people than most, and hesitant to give up on someone unless they’ve strongly demonstrated a complete lack of interest in being their best selves.

* #### “Diverting” Block - \[ “Performance” ]

3. “Role” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAMUlEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8REAxaQyv//idPDyMjIwES00VCFoxqICTHahxIjKKKJcQpMDQDTbAUXrf8MiAAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Ti ]

EIIs have little trouble observing codified rules of conduct. However, while they readily see the necessity of maintaining orderliness, they tend to view such codes more as rough guidelines or rules of thumb, rather than absolutes. For an EII, laws only have value insofar as they confer some practical benefit to people, and view moral goodness as something that must come from the heart rather than through rigid adherence to procedure.

4. “Vulnerable” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAVklEQVQoFb1R2wpAIQjT6P9/udOCxRLCTg/5pLvgSm+9TMrdZTILtFWyURhxGguInZgm1QyDElmPwMsbMsPvDQ8M/K4sO3ho7yKdbKFmXppAPCJxRv4AhFMdEL1ax1YAAAAASUVORK5CYII=) Se ]

The deeply reflective, internal focus of an EII greatly diminishes their capacity to physically exert their presence into the world around them. Individuals of this type generally have no interest in, or natural propensity for, engaging in powerplay. In point of fact, EIIs are generally more adverse to the prospect of coercion than virtually any other type, as they feel forcibly imposing their values defeats their core purpose of inspiring others to do good from their own heartfelt convictions.

* #### “Dovetailing” Block - \[ “Utility” ]

5. “Suggestive” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAHklEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8REAyaiVUIVjmogJsSGQygBAGOyARctg8RmAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC) Te]

While EIIs see moral good as something that must be practically embodied in the world, their physical awkwardness causes them to have a relatively hard time being skillful and efficient in a hands-on, practical way. Most are well aware of their deficiencies in this area, and are rarely satisfied in their efforts to overcome them. For this reason, EIIs are greatly appreciative of having those close to them who are technically competent and can bring their skills to bear in tackling heavy workloads, or otherwise getting real-world tasks accomplished.

6. “Mobilizing” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAATElEQVQoFWNkwAT/0YQY0fhwLkghumKQJFZxbArhJkEZYDVM6KLE8IkxHWbOf5JtoL0GuNtgDDw0+aEEMxRkArYQQxHHFu3omlDUAABJTg//VPgh0QAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Si ]

Despite largely being absorbed in their inner world, EIIs can adequately attend to tangible details and are keen to keep their ethical musings grounded in their day-to-day, real-world experiences & interactions, taking the lessons they’ve drawn from them to heart. An EII will also use these observations to make whatever small touches they can in maintaining a serene, smoothly functional environment, with conveniences tailored around personal needs and interests.

<br>

* #### “Trailing” Block - \[ “Aspiration” ]

7. “Ignoring” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAKElEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8TYACM2QSZsgvjEhoMGUEjgCiWsfh8OnibZDwCFqQIW5gZ6ywAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Fe]

EIIs tend to be fairly quiet, private individuals, and aren’t particularly given to outward displays of emotion – though they will open up more from their usual reserve when interacting with individuals they’re closer to. Even when they do express their most poignant sentiments, they tend to avoid overly elaborate or dramatic rhetoric, preferring more prosaic and down-to-earth language. EIIs also tend to be very distrustful of those who they perceive as emotionally intrusive or rhetorically manipulative.

8. “Demonstrative” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAASElEQVQoFWNgwA7+A4VBGAMwYYiQIYBsMjIbbBTFNmCYCDQWRYwiG1BMQvM7XI5sG+AmoJmMzAWrIcsGYkyH2fSfEcgiRQMDAAq7DP8hUE6AAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC) Ni ]

As a type given over to deep contemplation and introspection, immersion in narrative fantasizing comes as easily to EIIs as breathing. It’s not unusual for individuals of this type to lose themselves in intricate inner worlds of their own making. Even so, EIIs typically use their daydreaming of scenarios for personal edification and drawing moral takeaways – as opposed to conjuring sweeping visions of how the world should be ordered, or prescribing singular life courses to follow.
