# SLE - the “Marshal” (SeTi)

* #### “Leading” Block - \[ “Performance” ]

1. “Base” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAVklEQVQoFb1R2wpAIQjT6P9/udOCxRLCTg/5pLvgSm+9TMrdZTILtFWyURhxGguInZgm1QyDElmPwMsbMsPvDQ8M/K4sO3ho7yKdbKFmXppAPCJxRv4AhFMdEL1ax1YAAAAASUVORK5CYII=) Se ]

SLEs are assertive, competitive, and quick to pick up on the power dynamics of whatever circumstance they find themselves in. When they can, an SLE will typically use this awareness to attempt leveraging whatever resources or tactical advantages they have at their disposal to increase their status, extend the reach of their influence, and consolidate their level of physical control over territory they've acquired. For this reason, SLEs are naturals when it comes to proactively taking charge of situations and effectively making spaces extensions of their will.

2. “Creative” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAMUlEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8REAxaQyv//idPDyMjIwES00VCFoxqICTHahxIjKKKJcQpMDQDTbAUXrf8MiAAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Ti ]

In keeping with their external focus, SLEs will naturally take to learning physical disciplines, as well as the rules and procedures governing organizational structures. Like any other resource, an SLE will leverage this knowledge to maneuver and better position themselves within a preexisting system they happen to be in, or even shape their own from the ground up -- invariably affording themselves as much executive leeway as they can. Every SLE is instinctually aware that order is necessary to exert any level of control.

* #### “Diverting” Block - \[ “Ethos” ]

3. “Role” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAWUlEQVQoFZWRMQ4AIAgDrf//swoJpIJoZBFLrwxgrGqhAKhyGLUevM9vAixdSO4tKQE2qN4NOCVGbQOqVNYdiEls4pkDbLj1CnBCZTbP9wY5abp0tUX07w0TQOYIKuOiDqIAAAAASUVORK5CYII=) Ne ]

Even though SLEs are heavily inclined toward dealing with matters in a straightforward, tangible manner, they don't have too much difficulty coming up with alternative approaches. An SLE will often internally imagine and practice variations on maneuvers they've already learned, to then execute them as tactically needed. That said, SLEs have little interest in creatively mixing things up merely to expand personal potential for its own sake, and instead view such internal exercises as a means of better realizing their worldly ambitions.

4. “Vulnerable” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAOklEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8TYACM2QZAYNg3YxMD6mXCZgkt8EGpgweVWoDhOj+OUwGLY/0HoaVD0k+IHBgBiPwcPO3+IrQAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Fi ]

On top of being rather removed from their own internal moral sense, SLEs are generally disinterested in abstract, subjective notions of good & bad, and largely indifferent to appeals based on such personal sensibilities. Instead, SLEs prefer to rely upon external metrics of what constitutes the objective bounds of acceptable and unacceptable behaviors, such as formally codified legal doctrines or the recognized consensus of whatever ideological group the SLE subscribes to.

* #### “Dovetailing” Block - \[ “Aspiration” ]

5. “Suggestive” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAASElEQVQoFWNgwA7+A4VBGAMwYYiQIYBsMjIbbBTFNmCYCDQWRYwiG1BMQvM7XI5sG+AmoJmMzAWrIcsGYkyH2fSfEcgiRQMDAAq7DP8hUE6AAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC) Ni ]

Despite the general ease SLEs have when it comes to acting decisively in the moment to shape the world around them, their overwhelmingly physical focus makes it difficult for them to deeply reflect on the greater meaning and long-term importance of the actions they take. This can often leave an SLE’s efforts -- regardless of how successful -- feeling hollow and pointless. For this reason, SLEs often seek the counsel of those who can provide a clear, compelling, big-picture narrative framing which creates a sense of deeper importance and destiny to fulfill.

6. “Mobilizing” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAKElEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8TYACM2QSZsgvjEhoMGUEjgCiWsfh8OnibZDwCFqQIW5gZ6ywAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Fe]

A big part of how SLE's gauge their own (and others') importance is by the quality and degree to which they emotionally impress people -- their reputation. While SLEs generally have a passable way with words, and like being able to move others with stirring rhetoric, they very often find they have an easier time accomplishing this through physical deeds. Be it through feats of renown, ostentatious displays of status, or other attention grabbing demonstrations, an SLE will seek to exert a significant emotional impact on the world around them.

* #### “Trailing” Block - \[ “Utility” ]

7. “Ignoring” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAATElEQVQoFWNkwAT/0YQY0fhwLkghumKQJFZxbArhJkEZYDVM6KLE8IkxHWbOf5JtoL0GuNtgDDw0+aEEMxRkArYQQxHHFu3omlDUAABJTg//VPgh0QAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Si ]

While SLEs are sharply astute when it comes to objectively surveying their physical surroundings, passive, careful observation isn't exactly a pastime of interest to them. Instead, SLEs much prefer to actively shape their environment, while just offhandedly taking in salient details through the course of their physical interactions with it. However, when they do shift gears to slow down, SLEs manage to absorb quite a bit, readily noting whatever is potentially relevant to their own objectives.

8. “Demonstrative” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAHklEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8REAyaiVUIVjmogJsSGQygBAGOyARctg8RmAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC) Te]

In keeping with their focus on coordinating resources to impact external conditions, SLEs are also naturals when it comes to actively testing and adjusting practical methods on the fly. However, SLEs generally have little interest in implementing techniques merely for the sake of improving functionality or general utility. Instead, their use of technical expertise is largely to confer some logistical advantage, conquer an external challenge, or otherwise instantiate a desired order in the world.
