# ILE - the “Polymath” (NeTi)

###

* #### “Leading” Block - \[ “Interpretation” ]

1. “Base” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAWUlEQVQoFZWRMQ4AIAgDrf//swoJpIJoZBFLrwxgrGqhAKhyGLUevM9vAixdSO4tKQE2qN4NOCVGbQOqVNYdiEls4pkDbLj1CnBCZTbP9wY5abp0tUX07w0TQOYIKuOiDqIAAAAASUVORK5CYII=) Ne ]

ILEs have a quick and natural aptitude with creative conceptualization. They revel in brainstorming, manipulating and expanding upon ideas for its own sake, viewing concepts almost as toys to play with. Possessed of a near boundless curiosity, a typical ILE often maintains a wide range of intellectual hobbies revolving around exploring the theoretical implications of ideas which interest them. Once an ILE feels they’ve exhausted all the meaningful possibilities a topic has to offer, they tend to get bored with it and quickly move on to others.

2. “Creative” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAMUlEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8REAxaQyv//idPDyMjIwES00VCFoxqICTHahxIjKKKJcQpMDQDTbAUXrf8MiAAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Ti ]

Along with their affinity for generating and playing with concepts, ILEs are also adept with the theoretical structures used to logically frame and articulate them as coherent ideas. Their intellectual play often manifests as a proclivity for discussing and debating the same topic from various perspectives, testing out their own cognitive abilities as well as the logical limits of the subject matter.

* #### **“Diverting” Block - \[ “Volition” ]**

3. “Role” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAVklEQVQoFb1R2wpAIQjT6P9/udOCxRLCTg/5pLvgSm+9TMrdZTILtFWyURhxGguInZgm1QyDElmPwMsbMsPvDQ8M/K4sO3ho7yKdbKFmXppAPCJxRv4AhFMdEL1ax1YAAAAASUVORK5CYII=) Se ]

While energetic and often driven in pursuit of exploring their varied interests, ILEs generally prefer not to lean too heavily into being directly forceful. Though capable of being adequately assertive if a situation calls for it, most ILE’s prefer to rely on their wits to circumvent obstacles and avoid serious conflicts, instead of just bluntly powering through them.

4. “Vulnerable” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAOklEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8TYACM2QZAYNg3YxMD6mXCZgkt8EGpgweVWoDhOj+OUwGLY/0HoaVD0k+IHBgBiPwcPO3+IrQAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Fi ]

An ILE's sense of their visceral likes & dislikes tends to be tenuous and unstable, being more heavily influenced by whatever their mood is at any given time. They also have a poor awareness of the psychological distance between themselves and other individuals, as well as a general ineptitude and disinterest in the nuances of managing relational bonds. Instead, they prefer to focus on managing the tone of interactions in ways they find favorable, being content to let others take the lead in determining their relational status with them.

* #### “Dovetailing” Block - \[ “Aesthesis” ]

5. “Suggestive” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAATElEQVQoFWNkwAT/0YQY0fhwLkghumKQJFZxbArhJkEZYDVM6KLE8IkxHWbOf5JtoL0GuNtgDDw0+aEEMxRkArYQQxHHFu3omlDUAABJTg//VPgh0QAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Si ]

Being overwhelmingly occupied with playfully exploring their hobbies and conceptual workspace, an ILE tends to have a very poor sensory awareness of their body’s needs – sometimes even to the detriment of their health. However, ILEs greatly appreciate help from others who are attuned to such things, and capable of providing aesthetic comforts & amenities that the ILE likely didn't even realize they were in need of.

6. “Mobilizing” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAKElEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8TYACM2QSZsgvjEhoMGUEjgCiWsfh8OnibZDwCFqQIW5gZ6ywAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==) Fe]

As much as ILEs enjoy exploring topics of interest to them, they also love conveying ideas and their enthusiasm for them to others. Unfortunately, ILEs have noticeably less facility with the nuances of emotional expression than they do with verbalizing the technical details of subjects which interest them. Even so, this does little to blunt their obvious passion for discussing such topics, which is often still infectious despite the management of emotional presence not exactly being their forte.

* #### “Trailing” Block - \[ “Strategy” ]

7. “Ignoring” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAASElEQVQoFWNgwA7+A4VBGAMwYYiQIYBsMjIbbBTFNmCYCDQWRYwiG1BMQvM7XI5sG+AmoJmMzAWrIcsGYkyH2fSfEcgiRQMDAAq7DP8hUE6AAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC) Ni ]

As adept as they are with grasping, manipulating and expanding upon concepts, ILEs are loath to dwell too much on plotting out the strategic implications of such information, as it requires a singular depth of focus they find too limiting and tedious to maintain. While an ILE is perfectly capable of reflecting on matters to derive a concrete sense of how they’d be likely to play out over time, they instead prefer to explore theoretical possibilities.

8. “Demonstrative” Function - \[ ![](data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAwAAAAMCAYAAABWdVznAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAERlWElmTU0AKgAAAAgAAYdpAAQAAAABAAAAGgAAAAAAA6ABAAMAAAABAAEAAKACAAQAAAABAAAADKADAAQAAAABAAAADAAAAAATDPpdAAAAHklEQVQoFWNkYGD4D8REAyaiVUIVjmogJsSGQygBAGOyARctg8RmAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC) Te]

ILEs are as adept with practical reasoning and processing loads of fact data as they are in playing around with purely abstract notions. It's quite common for individuals of this type to be very knowledgeable on a wide range of topics, which they readily put to use in projects of interest. However, they’re much more inclined to apply these reasoning skills for such things as recreational debating and technical experimentation for its own sake, rather than for purely practical ends.
